External Factor

The ego resorts to a series of defense mechanisms with an element of self-deception in order to deliver from the anxiety caused by the unfulfillment of its needs, the satisfaction of which would be ensued by castigation and punishment from society as well as the conscience. The element common between all the defense mechanisms is the friction between the conscious and subconscious mind. Whatever regulates human behavior plays the role of the external factor; This imposed friction drives the individual to confront the existing situation to the point that the individual loses their natural ability and is left with some kind of disability.
